Mark is an experienced nurse with 20 years post qualification experience in a variety of roles. Whilst specialising in Accident and Emergency Nursing, Mark also has experience of working in a number of clinical environments including general medical wards, acute assessment units and police custody environments.
In addition to his Advanced Diploma in Adult Nursing, Mark holds a BSc (hons) in Promoting Practice Effectiveness (Nurse Practitioner) as well a UCPGE in Forensic and Legal Medicine. He has mentored hundreds of student nurses throughout his career and acted as sign off mentor for final year students and for registered nurses wishing to become sign off mentors themselves.
Mark has broadened his scope of practice since working for CIPHER Medical. He is qualified in the management of trauma in the pre-hospital environment, and is an emergency response driver, skills which he puts to good use supporting our 999 support services.
Mark leads on infection prevention & control, he is deputy lead for safeguarding and promotes privacy and dignity across all of our services.
